Service Description

This package is designed for students aged 14 years and 11 months to 17 years, who wish to complete their driver’s education requirements outside of the traditional high school course offerings. It meets all Illinois state requirements, allowing students to take their licensing exam at their local DMV. The package includes 30 hours of Traditional Driver's Education classroom instruction. Class schedules are available on a separate page. We will assist students in obtaining their learner's permit within the first few weeks of class. In the final week of the course, students can begin scheduling their behind-the-wheel training sessions. The behind-the-wheel training includes: -4 driving sessions, each approximately 3 hours in duration -1.5 hours of driving plus 1.5 hours of observation of peers per session -Totaling 6 hours of driving and 6 hours of observation for program completion Please note that driving sessions cannot be completed in less than 2 weeks. The pace of program completion will primarily depend on the student’s availability during the school year.
